Brachioplasty (Upper Arm Lift) in Jupiter and West Palm Beach, Florida
An upper arm lift, otherwise referred to as a Brachioplasty, is used to reduce or eliminate excess skin from the upper arms. If you have unsightly sagging skin on the upper arms due to aging, genetics, or weight loss, you may be a candidate for this procedure. The procedure entails cutting away the excess skin. The incision will run from the elbow to the armpit. It is placed in an inconspicuous location, the inner arm toward the back, but some scarring will always be visible.
After surgery the arms are wrapped to reduce swelling. The initial healing usually occurs in 10-14 days. Any swelling and bruising that occurs will gradually disappear over the first 3-4 weeks.
Serving South Florida, including Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach County.
