Exfoliation Treatments
Chemical peels have been a gold standard for years to rejuvenate and refresh the skin’s appearance. Now with advanced therapies, chemical peels are even more effective. Chemical peels are most commonly used on the face, chest and hands. A peel involves applying a chemical solution that will cause the damaged outer layer of skin to exfoliate and to infuse ingredients deeper into the inner layer of healthy skin cells to encourage new cell growth.
Microdermabrasion is another very effective form of skin exfoliation. Rather than using a chemical solution to gradually slough off dead skin cells, microdermabrasion mechanically exfoliates the outer layers of skin instantaneously. Like peels, microdermabrasion is very effective in reducing aging changes of the skin.
Microdermabrasion as well as many types and strengths of peels are available and through thorough consultation, you and one of our clinical Aestheticians will determine an exfoliation treatment that is right for you.
